Welcome to LoW-HI RV, located five miles south of Deming, New Mexico; "The Land of Enchantment", is a secure, quiet (no train or inter-state noise), secluded, and visually stunning RV park that can offer nature lovers anything they want. The ranch is a 65 site RV Park with 54 sites being pull-thru with full hook-ups including sewer. There are 11 sites which are back-in water/electric only. Each site offers 20, 30, & 50 Amp service. Numerous gardens are scattered throughout the ranch; a quarter mile nature trail encircles the ranch. A sunny rock labyrinth attracts birds, roadrunners and those needing a meditative mood. Expansive views of The Florida Mountains, brilliant sunsets, vast skies and friendly staff make Low-Hi a place people come back to again and again.
The Low-HI RV Ranch is nestled in between the Florida Mountains and the Cooke Mountain which is a paradise for geology and rock lovers of all ages. Also these mountain ranges are favorite places for ATV'ers. There are trails through out these ranges including the the historical Butterfield Trail, the wagon trail route into southern New Mexico, and old site of Ft. Cummings, an US Army Base which housed the New Mexico Buffalo Soldiers, are favorites for ATV’ers.
History buffs will appreciate the close proximity to Silver City, home to silver mining, the Gila cliff dwellings, hot springs and the nation’s largest national forest (Gila National Forest), and Columbus, New Mexico the town Poncho Villa invaded a century ago. This is the only time the US was invaded by land and the first time the US sent planes into combat. History buffs will want to see the museums in Silver City, Columbus, and Deming, New Mexico.
The Bataan Memorial Park in Santa Clara, New Mexico just outside Silver City, New Mexico pays tribute to the brave men who fought in the Philippines and ended up in the hands of the Japanese on Bataan.
Geronimo (famous Indian Chief) frequently attacked the small village of Pinos Altos, New Mexico the gateway to the Gila National Forest.
Two award winning wineries (D.H. Lescombes Winery and Luna Rossa) are located in Deming, New Mexico. Both host numerous activities and, of course, wine tastings.
